Rome: Day 1

By the time we were actually in Italy and ready to start our European adventure it was already Thursday. It was all so exhausting because we had been traveling overnight and without any sleep had to start a new day. After meeting up with our tour director Tyson he brought us to our first hotel in Rome, even though it was so difficult for all of us to stay awake on the bus ride. Once we got settled into our rooms we had a guided walk around the Trevi fountain to the Piazza Navona via Pantheon. It was awesome to see the Pantheon up close and personal considering that's the temple that was dedicated to all of the God's. Once we were done exploring a little bit of Rome we had dinner in a little restaurant. While we were waiting it started to pour, but luckily that was the only day we ever had a cloud in the sky. After dinner we all couldn't wait to get some sleep since it had been a long day, and it would be another long day in the morning.
